Indianapolis Region SCCA Autocross School
Registration includes a full credit for entry in the Sunday May 31 Indy Autocross at Grissom

This event is held under the current SCCA Solo Rules, Sanction No. 26-SRG-66972, where 26-SRG-66972 is the sanction number issued for the event.

Car Classification
While car numbers are not required for the Saturday Autocross School, number and class will be required for Sunday's Autocross competition if you choose to participate. If you have any questions about which class your car should be in please contact Chuck Nienhouse at cenienhouse@gmail.com

Event requirements
Grissom ARB is a No Drone Zone. Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) flight is prohibited except as specifically authorized by the Installation Commander.
Minors
A Minor Waiver must be completed and submitted online at SCCA . Minors under 12 are not allowed in hot areas and minors 12 and up must be SCCA members. Annual Waiver for minors is required.
Helmets
Helmets meeting the following standards must be worn with the chin strap securely fastened while on course:
Snell Memorial Foundation standards SA2025,EA 2016, SA2020, SA2015, SA2010, SAH2010, M2025D, M2025R,M2020D, M2020R, M2015, M2010, K2025, K2020, K2015, K2010.
SFI standards 31.1/2020, 31.1/2015, 31.1/2010, 41.1/2020, 41.1/2015, 41.1/2010.
FIA standards 8859-2024, 8859-2024-ABP, 8859-2020, 8860-2018, 8860-2018-ABP, 8859-2015, 8860-2010.
Full face or modular helmets shall be worn while competing in an open-wheel car, formula car, or kart.
Loaner Helmets are not always available - please bring your own!
High Center of Gravity Vehicles
THIS IS IMPORTANT: Vehicles with a high center of gravity and a narrow track, such as 4WD trucks, minivans, and most SUVs, pose a rollover risk when asked to corner at an elevated speed. Due to the increased chance of rollovers these vehicles are not allowed to compete. Additionally, the following vehicles have demonstrated unstable characteristics and are not allowed to compete:
• Dodge Caliber (non-SRT)
• Fiat 500 (non-Abarth)
• Ford Fiesta (non-ST)
• Geo Tracker
• Jeep CJ series
• MINI Countryman
• Nissan Juke
• Scion iQ, Scion xB
• Subaru Forester, Crosstrek
• Suzuki Samurai, Suzuki Sidekick
